Embedding Your Material

You have your custom multimedia link… now what? There are many options for providing your students access to your multimedia. Embed codes or URLs can be used to share multimedia materials on your library website, library guides, or learning management system. Please remember that your materials are behind a proxy or IP authentication so only current students should be accessing your materials.

Remember: You will want to ensure the multimedia is easily accessible for your students. The more steps it takes them to locate the materials, the less likely they are to view or even reach the material.

In the code below, replace "URL" with the link provided to you. The code is then ready to be inserted on any webpage. Be sure to remember that depending on where you are embedding the multimedia, you may need to adjust the width or height.

Basic Embed Code Example:<iframe src="http://URL.com" width="100%" height="600" frameborder="1" scrolling="yes"></iframe>
