Accessing Student Engagement & Participation Data

Credo Courseware includes analytics about student engagement and participation. This article will show you how to locate the different parts of the data and which items are downloadable.

Step 1: From the course dashboard, click on the "Instructor" tab, then the "Analytics" tab, and then click on the link that says "For analytics about your course, go to Credo Courseware Insights."

Step 2: On the analytics homepage, click on "Engagement"

Step 3: On the Engagement page, you will see a variety of data. The first graph is a line graph of weekly student engagement. Hover any data point (date) on the graph and it will give you number of active students, how many students watched a video, and how many tried a problem (question).

Step 4: At the bottom of the page is a table titled "Content Engagement Breakdown." This table is downloadable in a CSV format, and it shows you student engagement by week: The number of active students that week, how many watched a video, tried a problem, and then the percentage of active students vs. total enrollment for that particular week. To download this, click on the "Download to CSV" button to the top right of the table.
