On July 12, 2018, the Credo Online Reference Service was given a few key updates, with a focus on streamlining the search experience and forefronting our new Real-time Reference content category. As we designed these changes, we incorporated customer suggestions, user testing, and our vision of students starting their research with reference.
Changes to the Home Page
We've combined the search bars on the home page, removing the redundant search box in the center of the page (click to enlarge). Real-time Reference is now part of the featured content in the home page carousel.
Enriched Search results
We're forefronting different content types, such as the Mind Map and Real-time Reference, and creating a carousel for multiple Topic Page results (click to enlarge)
Refreshed Topic Pages
Topic Pages now have a Real-time Reference section that will appear where there is relevant content. The Mind Map is now an image of the actual map for your term, not just a placeholder (click to enlarge)
The changes are now live in all Credo Online Reference Service accounts - existing customers can log in here. Please contact support@credoreference.com with any questions or concerns.
